Neolithic Cannibals at Brighton Festival 2024 - Audience Feedback
Very inspiring....surely a unique mixture of a project helping inclusion of young people, sound, music, local action, archeology etc.....Wow that's a big bundle to pull across ages, race, interests!
It was inspiring and extraordinary, a collision of scintillating festival artwork and community participation. This is exactly where arts investment should be, and the reaction provoked in many attendees while I was present was profound.
Really excellent, engaging and thought-provoking. I love the way sound, community + history all culminate. One of the most impactful things i have seen in recent memory.
Excellent, our whole family enjoyed it. thanks for providing this wonderful and inspiring space.
It was fascinating to see a presentation like this, an area I grew up in and was proud to be a part of.
Really intelligent free flow use of the space, really loved the circular speaker set up and the sounds quality. Great mixture of very contemporary techniques with historical primary/secondary sources.
Fantastic, smart, experimentally refreshing and sincerely socially engaged.
Well curated, good community engagement. Highlighting local history within present context.
This was what i most wanted to see of all the festival events. Truly what Brighton needs- genuinely co-created groundbreaking work that places local voices centrally and is creatively such high-quality.
Incredible. One of the best sound/art installations i've ever seen. I feel transformed and moved and see Brighton differently now.
Resonated with me and inspired a feeling of deep personal connection.
Excellent! I was fascinated by the link between sound, landscape, people and history.
It takes me a while to process stuff but the general feeling from today was one of curiousness and like being in a 'sound bath' so very contemplative.
Brilliant! A really excellent and engaging exhibition with real heart and passion behind it.
I was first drawn by the ancient history elements and these were blended seamlessly with the modern elements to create a really thoughtful piece. I love the idea.
